The Minor in English represents an ideal choice for students who enjoy English, but who are committed to another major. Our requirements ground the student in the basics of literary and cultural study, and then allow for range of course offerings in creative writing, linguistics, rhetoric, literature, and technical & professional communication. The minor will help the student to become a better writer, reader, and thinker, making English the perfect complement to any major in the New College. Once completed, “Minor: English” appears on the transcript.
