NEW COLLEGE

DEAN'S MESSAGE

Message from University Vice President and Dean Elizabeth Langland

If you are a prospective student looking for your collegiate home, I hope this message is the first of many meaningful connections you will make here in New College…Connections with fellow students, connections with our faculty Elizabeth Langland who are committed to your success, and connections with the community in which we reside. Learning begins in the classroom, but it continues outside as you take the knowledge you have gained in your classes and translate it into real-world applications.

If you are a student currently studying in one of our many degree programs, I encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities afforded you. Engage in research with your faculty. You’ll be inspired by what you learn and achieve. Take advantage of the opportunity to pursue an internship. Participate in our professional development certification program where you will be able to join in discussions with the business community on how to translate your skills and your degree into a successful career.

Your opportunities are endless. We challenge you to make the most of them. Please join us!
